You'll have to do one of the following:

Perpendicular Bisector

Bisect an Angle

Regular Hexagon

Circumscribed Square

Solutions to the original review are below.

**Last Pair of Unit Tests will be this Friday, 12/12. One will cover circles and parabolas, and the other will cover probability**

Solutions to Probability Study Guide

and while I'm at it, posting things to my blog, here's a sample of how the project should look when you're done... Maybe a little neater than mine though! Here are the instructions.

**This project is NOT optional!**

**We have 2 more unit tests remaining and our final. All of this will occur after our EOC which is scheduled for 12/2 & 3.**

**Students are encouraged to review/practice for the EOC via the review packet that was handed out in class on Friday 11/21.**

Solutions to the EOC Review

**The 2nd circles test is Friday 11/14. It will cover circumference and arc length, area of circles and sectors, surface area & volume of round solids, Cavalierri's principle and radian measure.**

Study Guide Blank copy

Solutions.

Solutions to worksheet will be posted later tonight.

Video Clip for converting between degrees and radians. Which is what we covered on Wednesday.

It's the backwards-writing girl. She goes a little more into it than I did. She has info below the video on how to skip to exactly what you need.

**The first test over circles is this Friday, 11/6!**

**Next Test is Friday 10/24 and will cover trigonometry.**

ALSO Be working on your bridge!! Bridges are due on Friday, 10/31.

Solutions

#s 34 - 36 on the review can (and should be) done quickly as special right triangle problems. They can also be solved as trig problems which I showed on the solutions. I did this for the same problems on the applications WS

Solutions to the applications worksheet.

Last 4 problems should be done as special right triangle problems, but I showed them solved as trig problems on the solutions.

Here's a video covering the very basics of trigonometry.

A video on using trig to solve a simple problem

A video on using trig to solve word problems.

A video on simply finding trig ratios (just watch the first 5min)

**The 2nd test over actual geometry will cover triangle congruence, special triangle segments, and parallelograms. Currently Scheduled for Fri, 10/17**

The Study guide for the test!

And the Solutions.

In light of our upcoming bridge project, you should click and play this game! It might help!

Some video clips that might help!

4min clip on SSS & SAS

5min clip on ASA & AAS

a clip covering HL

Here's a longer clip, but it really does a good job explaining how to write a congruence statement.

And another one. Super annoying guy discusses ASA, AAS & HL.

**The Next Test covering the beginning of actual geometry is scheduled for Thur 10/2**

**HW for Monday 9/29 can be downloaded here!**

Solutions to the Study Guide

#4 is wrong!! The answer in the blank is correct, but the question should say 'supplementary', not 'complementary'.

Video Clip - using similar triangles to set up and solve proportions. An EZ example followed by some more difficult problems.

**Unit 2b Test will cover graphs of quadratic equations and is currently scheduled for Tue, 9/9**

Solutions to Review

Solutions to Graphing Inequalities WS

Video Clip of finding the vertex of a parabola from standard or vertex form. (Backwards writing girl)

Long Video -

*Slightly*different take on graphing quadratics from standard form, but I like it. On the other hand, this math teacher might be the most annoying teacher on the planet, and I'm affraid I'm kind of like him. :\

**Unit 2a Test will cover solving quadratic equations and is currently scheduled for Wed, 8/27**

Solutions to the Study Guide

There's a mistake! I made a mistake in the solutions! #4 should be (x - 6)(x - 4)

Thanks to the parent who found it during open house :)

Blank Study Guide if you'd like.

IF YOU DIDN'T GET 2 WORKSHEETS FOR HOMEWORK on Friday, then print page 1 of this document. Instructions are the same as the 1st. Just do the first column.

Solving by Completing the Square. Video where the girl writes backwards.

Teach Me how to Factor Video

Backwards-writing girl talking about solving equations by factoring.

Don't be offended... it's about solving with the quadratic formula.

**Unit 1 Test is scheduled for Wednesday, 8/13**

Solutions to the study guide!!

The Dinner Menu Assignment is due Thursday in class! Don't forget!

Video Clip - How to multiply polynomials (less than 2min long!)

Here's a video clip on multiplying complex numbers.

And dividing complex numbers (using the conjugate)

I like this video exploring properties of square roots!

Vihart video "i used to exist in a single world..."
